Black Belt Journey
I started going to Action Karate when I was in 4th grade. My mom was the one who signed me up because she knew it would be good for me and that I was interested. At first it was really easy, but eventually I kept getting stopped. In 5th grade I broke my wrist which stopped me from going to Action for a couple months. I was really bummed because it was a huge thing for me to try and get back into karate afterwards. Somehow I managed, and haven’t had any other major incidents since. Now, it’s been about 5 and a half years since I started going to action and I enjoy every class. Mr. McQuade and Mr. Brenner are great instructors and make every class fun for me. I am now testing for my Senior black belt and can’t believe it. Overall, I really enjoy going to Action Karate, and will continue to see how far I can get.
