Helping to Grow
When I first began learning at Action, I was in eighth grade. I was a rather asocial individual with low confidence. Additionally, I wasn’t athletic in the slightest. However, little by little, the community began to help me come out of my shell. Since then, the positivity from both instructors and fellow students has enabled me to grow in ways I previously hadn’t thought possible. Now I am more assured in my abilities, as well as being physically stronger. I find myself volunteering in classroom activities, leading clubs, and constantly working to improve myself.
