Jack’s black belt journey

Jack’s black belt journey

I started at Action karate in September of 2016. I was 8 years old and had just started homeschool also. I was very shy and didn’t want to go to karate. My mom made me try it and sometimes I didn’t want to participate in class. A lot of times I complained about going to class. After several months I started to feel more comfortable but I still didn’t want to go sometimes. After I promoted to the different color belts I started to be more interested in class. I kept coming 2 or more times a week for almost 3 years and now I’m testing for black belt. During that time I broke my arm and had an 8 day hospital stay when I was sick and I worked hard to catch up and still promote. 3 years went fast and I hope I can pass my black belt test. If I dont make it this time I will keep trying with the help of all of my awesome instructors!
