NATES STORYOF STRUGGLE AND TRI
I started action karate 2 and 1/2 years ago when I was only 7. I did not like football, I didn’t like baseball, and as hard as my dad tried to get me to play ice hockey, I wasn’t really comfortable with that either.
We saw action karate at a booth over at an “A day” event at the Delaware Valley University where we met Mrs. Cindy. Later that week my mom and dad took me to meet miss Cindy at their store in Chalfont and I really liked what she told me and I saw.
Back then I was a little shy and did not want to do things in front of other people. After learning karate from Mr. M and the other teachers at Action karate I feel much more self-confident and comfortable.
I have learned self-defense, Kata and many weapons at Action karate and I am now more comfortable in doing those things in front of my class and other people.
I hope someday to get a black belt.
